He is the current WBO Super flyweight champion. Fernando Montiel is a hybrid boxer, using accurate punches to slow down his opponent and using swift hand speed and quickness to frustrate his opponents. This was perfectly showcased in his fight with game but relatively unknown Mitchell Samba. Scouted as a pure puncher, Montiel used lightning fast quick and crisp combinations all throughout the fight. The fight ended with 1:44 seconds left in the ninth round when Montiel unloaded double picture-perfect vicious haymakers to the body and head. This sent Mitchell to the canvas and promptly ended the fight.

Israel Vázquez Castaneda (born December 25, 1977 in Mexico City, Mexico) is Mexican professional boxer. He is the current WBC and Ring Super Bantamweight champion. He is a former champion at the IBF Super-Bantamweight division.

Vásquez has an overall record of 42-4 (with 31 wins by KO). He is managed by Frank Espinoza. In December 3, 2005, Vázquez defeated Oscar Larios by a knockout in three rounds, to become the Ring's Super Bantamweight world champion. He is currently trained by Marco Antonio Barrera's coach, Rudy Pérez.

In his most recent bouts he defeated the WBO Bantamweight champion Jhonny González on September 16, 2006 in a bout were Vázquez was knockdown twice before coming back to win the match. In his next bout Vázquez lost his title to Rafael Márquez, on March 3, 2007 when he forfeited the bout due to an injured nose. However, in a rematch bout, Vásquez fought and defeated Márquez by a knockout in sixth rounds

Bernard Hopkins,USA (48-4-11-32 KO)

Bernard Hopkins was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, growing up in the Raymond Rosen housing projects and later in Germantown, where he became involved in crime and gang activity at a young age. Today, he describes himself as a "thug" in his youth and regrets that it took a stint in prison for him to turn his life around.

Late in 1982, when Hopkins was in the 11th grade, he was convicted and sentenced to 18 years in the state penitentiary for "strong-arm robbery" (not armed robbery - beating people and taking their money). For fifty-six months, from 1984 through 1989, Hopkins was one of three thousand inmates in Graterford State Penitentiary in Pennsylvania. While incarcerated, he decided to turn his life around.[1] Hopkins studied for and earned his high school diploma, and also began to take part in boxing again, which he had done off and on as a youth.

During four years and eight months in prison, Hopkins won the national penitentiary middleweight championship three times. He converted to Islam [2] during his incarceration and was paroled in 1988, as soon as he was eligible. His dedicated approach to the faith helped him build his successful monastic boxing career by instilling discipline in the once troubled young adult [3].

Dr. Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Klitschko (Ukrainian: Володимир Володимирович Кличко, Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Klychko); born March 25, 1976 in Solnechnoe, Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan) is a Ukrainian heavyweight boxer, former WBO and the current IBF and IBO World Heavyweight Champion. Though a major celebrity in his former adopted home of Germany, in 2004 he moved with his older brother, former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, to Beverly Hills. Their father, Wladimir Rodionovich, was a Soviet Air Force Colonel. Their mother is Nadezhda Ulyanovna. In the summer of 1996 Wladimir finished Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky Pedagogical Institute (Ukraine) and was accepted in the postgraduate study program of the Kyiv University. On January 18, 2001 in a conference hall of Kyiv University of physical science and sports, Wladimir presented his doctorate dissertation and was given a PhD in Sports Science.

Ruslan Chagaev (born October 19, 1978 in Andijan, Uzbekistan) is a boxer, currently holding the WBA heavyweight title. As an amateur fighter, he has won the Asian and World Championships in the heavyweight (81-91 kg) category.

Chagaev originally won the gold medal at the 1997 World Amateur Boxing Championships after beating boxing legend Félix Savón in the final, but when it was discovered that Chagaev had been boxing professionally, he lost the title and was suspended for a year. In 1998 he returned to win gold in the 1998 Asian Games and another world title in the superheavyweight category in the 2001 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Belfast. Chagaev is an Honored Sportsman of the Republic of Uzbekistan and nicknamed "White Tyson."
